I figured it was time for another Top Ten about food. Sorry i didn't post Monday. It was a long day. I almost thought that I wouldn't get a post in today, but my dad had lunch plans, so he couldn't take us to go get fireworks. So you get to here my lovely commentary on my favorite ice cream flavors. I hope this makes you hungry!
10) This Coffee Ice Cream I Had Once: I this at the restaurant I wrote about. It tasted like someone had put coffee beans straight into the ice cream. It was the best coffee ice cream I had ever tasted.
9) Plain Vanilla Greek Frozen Yogurt: We bought this ice cream at Sam's, and I have to admit it was creamy and smooth. It was a little sour but it was still awesome.
8) Mint Oreo: Do you guys have Culver's where you live? Because if you don't, you should try one. It was mint ice cream with Oreo chunks which sounds gross, but it was actually a perfect flavor blend.
7) Vanilla Bean: You may notice I don't have plain chocolate ice cream on this list. That's because I don't like plain chocolate ice cream. Call me Un-American but I don't like. It like a good, actual made-from-vanilla-beans, vanilla ice cream.
6) S'more: The best part of this ice cream, is the giant marshmallow chunks that stick to the roof of your mouth.
5) Homemade Vanilla: Yes, vanilla is on this TWICE. Because there is a clear division between store-bought vanilla, and vanilla ice cream made in your grandpa's basement with an old ice cream machine and snow from outside.
4) Boston Cream Pie: Another "frozen custard" from the wonderland called Culver's. Chucks of chocolate, Bavarian cream, and pie crust, stuck in vanilla ice cream make this ice cream magical.
3) Caramel Gelato: For some reason, gelato is so much creamier than normal ice cream. Plus, anything with caramel is delicious to me. It's the only ice cream topping you need! But when my mom brought this home, I was all over it.
2) Cherry Chocolate Chunk: It counts as a serving of fruit!
1) Chocolate chip cookie dough (especially Ben & Jerry's!): Call me old school, but I love the classics. Cookie dough is a classic flavor that combines the magic of raw cookie dough, and the wonder of ice cream. Ben & Jerry's loads up vanilla ice cream with TONS of cookie dough, unlike some companies that skimp on the cookie dough.
